Mr. William R. "Bill" Stewart Obituary (1931

Mr. William R. "Bill" Stewart, 85, passed away on March 27, 2017 at Pioneer Community Hospital, in Aberdeen. Mr. Bill was born December 6, 1931, in Webster County, the son of the late William Redding and Mamie Blaylock Stewart. Mr. Bill was a Milk Truck Driver for Brookshires,Miller Brothers, Flavorich, and Barber's. Mr. Bill was a member of West End Baptist Church. Mr. Bill was an United States Army Veteran, having served in France after World War II. Mr. Bill enjoyed woodworking, vegetable gardening, and fishing. Mr. Bill married Dorothy Mae Hitt Stewart on June 26, 1954, at Gore Springs Baptist Church, and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2017. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a Sister: Eloise Avery and a Brother: Robert "Bob" Stewart. Funeral services will be Friday, March 31, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Melvin Mordecai officiating. Graveside service will be at 1:00 P.M. at Embry Cemetery in Bellefontaine in Webster County. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include a son, Mike Stewart of West Point; a Granddaughter: Jackie Baggett (Brandon) of Hamilton and Three Great-Grandchildren; Cade, Lex, and Locke Baggett, all of Hamilton. Pallbearers will be Tad Cain, Jerry Martin, Dale Avery, Brandon Baggett, Connis Booth, and Charles Baggett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garland Hunt, Terry Stewart, and the Nurses & Staff of The Care Center in Aberdeen. Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Foundation, 225 N.
