Mr. William Gerald ( Jerry) Castle Obituary (1939

William Gerald "Jerry" Castle, 74, passed away, on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at his home, in West Point, Mississippi. Jerry was born September 29, 1939 in Electric Mills to the late Mildred Louise Adams and William Dewey Castle. He was a retired Supervisor at Bryan Foods for 34 years and was a member of First United Methodist. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force having served during Cuban Crisis and a time during President Kennedy’s Assassination. William Gerald "Jerry" Castle, married Clara Mae Smith on June 2, 1962, Epps, Alabama. Funeral services will be July 16, 2014, 3:30 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Jeff Shannon officiating, assisted by Doug Adams with the Eulogy. Burial will follow in West Point Memorial Garden Cemetery West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his Wife Clara Smith Castle;one daughter, Wanda Castle Moore (Jerry) of West Point; one son, Bill Castle of Birmingham, AL; Two grandchildren; Jena Stafford Oakes (Ken) and Will Stafford; One Great Grandson; Wyatt Oakes; Aunt Nita Hull (Olen) of Chunky,MS Pallbearers will be Bill Castle, Andy Smith, Adam Smith, Garret Stephens, Matt Stephens and Kirk Stephens Honorary Pallbearers will be James Whitmire, Tom Kelly, Dale Davis, Jim Stafford, Dr. Edmund A. Miller, Jr., Billy Allen, Wally McGee, Olin Hudlin, Pete O'Shea, Michael Tate, Kenneth Walls and Jeanna Whitaker, CFNP. Memorials may be made to the Donor's Choice.
