Wanda Faulkner Newborn

Mrs. Wanda Renee Faulkner Newborn, 58, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born on January, 7, 1967, in Carrollton, Georgia, the daughter of the late Roy Winford Faulkner and Rebecca Jane Lea Robinson.

Wanda studied Information Systems and Accounting at West Georgia Technical College. She was a former Engineering Administrator for Decostar where she will be missed by all of her co-workers.

She enjoyed spending quality time with her family. The children, grandchildren, and great grandchild were the center of her attention, along with her fur baby Cooper. The home was always full of love and laughter and the good food made for memorable family gatherings.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Craig Newborn; children, Rodney & Jessica Faulkner, Hilary Wiggins & Casey Kinnard, Justin & Sara Hicks, Trae Farmer, and Tori & Caleb Vaughn; sisters & brothers-in-laws, Rita & Robert Tudor, Donna & Dennis Waldrep, and Beverly Faulkner; brother & sister-in-law, Roger & Bobbie Faulkner; grandchildren, Natali Faulkner, Kaid Faulkner, Haegan Faulkner, Kaleigh Purmort, Jordan Wiggins, Clayton Sheheane, Anslee Faulkner, Hunter Hicks, Madalyn Hicks, and Addison Faulkner; great-grandchild, Waylon Ray.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Angie Robinson.

A funeral service will honor and celebrate Mrs. Wanda’s life on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home, with Rev. Marcus McIntosh officiating. Interment will follow in Ephesus Christian Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Haegan Faulkner, Kaid Faulkner, Casey Kinnard, Kevin Newborn, Lee Shaw, Clayton Sheheane, and Caleb Vaughn.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
