"Viresalinga Ravadi passed away peacefully on 4th January 2023 at the age of 87 surrounded by his family in California, USA. Sekhar, as he was known, was a retired chief civil engineer and worked on the construction of dams and irrigation canals in Andhra Pradesh, India. Sekhar will be remembered as an avid scholarly reader and creative storyteller eager to regale tales of his past. He loved playing the guitar and singing songs to family and friends. In his final years Sekhar battled Alzheimer’s disease. He lived with family in Palo Alto and continued enjoying being part of his church fellowship. He is survived by his two daughters (Srilata and Sangeeta), and six grandchildren (Sindhu, Sravanthi, Vivek, Sandeep, Navya, and Sanjana). He was proceeded in passing by his wife (Ganga) and daughter (Sarita)."
