Terry Cook

erry Ezra Cook, 67, of Franklin, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. He was born on May 19, 1957, in Carrollton, the son of Irene West Cook and the late Ezra Cook.

Terry, a skilled welder who dedicated 34 years of his life to The Southern Company, was a talented local musician and a beloved father and grandfather. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his father, Terry was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Marissa Cook.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Irene Cook; daughters & son-in-laws, Crystal & Danny Hall and Sunshine & Lee Denney; and grandchildren, Camryn Hall, Brea Sedlak, Nathan Denney, and Victoria Denney.

A funeral service will be held to honor and celebrate Terry’s life on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home, with Greg Moss officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
