Shamara DeShannon Hunter Obituary (1984 - 2021)

Shamara “Reka” DeShannon Hunter, 37 of Beltsville, Maryland departed this life on December 26, 2021, at Doctor’s Community Hospital in Lanham, MD. Reka was born on February 2, 1984, to Thomas and Rosetta Hunter. Reka was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Henson, grandparents, Howard and Rebecca Cushingberg Hunter, and Carl Nathan and Rachel Elizabeth Syrkes. Reka’s homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2021 (viewing from 10-11 AM and the service will follow @ 11 AM) at Encounter Church of God, 12240 5 Mile Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
