Randy “Junior” Moore, Jr.

Carrollton, Georgia

Randy “Junior” Ian Moore Jr., 37, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 12, 1987. Randy was a loving husband, father, brother, nephew, son-in-love, and uncle.

To know Randy was to love him. He was a man of deep faith, strength, courage, and endless love for his family. Randy had a passion for cars and anything with an engine, and he was a dedicated Georgia Bulldog fan. For the past 19 years, he devoted his life to signal work, forming lasting friendships with his coworkers and clients, many of whom he considered family. When Randy committed to something, he gave it his all. He was a man who never gave up. Randy fought a hard battle with cancer, maintaining his strong faith in our Lord and Savior throughout. He trusted in His plan for his life.

Randy cherished his role as a husband and father, and he adored his girls, who were the light of his life. In return, he is the light of theirs.

He is survived by a loving family who adore him and will ensure that the world never forgets him. He leaves behind his wife, Leighanna Moore, and their beautiful daughter, Analee Moore. He was loved by his siblings: Eric Moore, Bryan Moore (Dana), and Brittany Irons (Caleb). He had a very special uncle, John Russell (Justine), whom he looked up to like a father. He is also survived by his mother-in-love, Sharon German, step-mother-in-love, Kimberly German, and five sisters-in-law: Jessica Prestridge, Sheyenne Rann, Megan Collect, Katie German, and Erin Schwiesow. Additionally, he leaves behind one brother-in-law, Mikey Collect, along with many nieces, nephews, a great-niece, cousins, aunts, and uncles. We will always love you, MOORE!

Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jimmy McIntyre, Robert Russell Jr., Janett Russell, James Moore, and James Thompson; uncles, Jimmy Moore and Tom Wall; aunts, Tammy Phillips and Barbara Wall; his cousin Anthony Dorsett; and his father-in-law, Jack German.

A funeral to honor and celebrate Randy’s life will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Martin & Hightower Funeral Home, with Pastor Desiree Duke and Jerome Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park, with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Eric Moore, Bryan Moore, John Russell, Patrick Beal, Michael Collect, and Mikey Collect. Randy’s nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM.
