Mrs. Moore Pearson Obituary (1936

Faye Moore Pearson, 76, passed away, on Tuesday. December 11, 2012 at her home, in West Point. Faye Moore Pearson was born May 7, 1936 in Montpelier, Mississippi to the late Maggie Lou Pate Moore and Charles Andrew Moore She was a homemaker and had worked at Knickerbocker and Big Yank Manufacturing. and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Columbus Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #53. Faye Moore Pearson married Thomas Eugene “Pappy” Pearson on November 19, 1955, at the First Baptist Church Parsonage. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 13, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery at Montpelier. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband Thomas E. "Pappy" Pearson and one daughter, Judy Pearson Ray (Wayne) all of West Point, two grandchildren; Leslie Ray Hood (James) and Susan Ray Fulgham (Greg); five great grandchildren; Emily, Lena Kate, Jake, Sarah Grace and Joseph: one sister, Glenda Clardy (Stennis) of West Point. Sisters, Martha Lou Moseley and Virginia Hosmer and her brother, Hugh Milton Moore, preceded her in death. Pallbearers will be her nephews: Andy Moore, Danny Clardy, Jasper Lummus, Mike Pearson, Sam Pearson, Robert Lummus, and Keith Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Columbus Chapter Order of the Eastern Star #53, her former co-workers at Knickerbocker & Big Yank. Memorials may be made to to the donor's choice. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5:00 untll 7:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
