Mr. Mack Walker, Sr Obituary (1929

Mr. Mack "Big M" Walker, Sr., 85, passed away on January 12, 2015. Services will take place on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Vision to Victory Church, 10282 W. Kiefer Rd., Michigan City, Indiana. The visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Pastor Rodney Spencer will officiate. He was born February 10, 1929 in Priscilla, Arkansas to the late Jesse Walker and Mary Applewhite. Later he moved to Michigan City from Arkansas in the late 1960's. His wife Ruby Lee Jackson Walker preceded him in death in 1995. Mack "Big M" worked with the Michigan City Police Department for many years. He also loved to fish, baseball, an avid poker player, classic cars, watching his favorite Western movies, game shows and he loved sharing fun times and making everlasting memories with his family and friends. Mack leaves to cherish his memories, his children; Bernice Walker, MS, Carol Johnson, South Bend, IN, Mack Walker, Jr., South Bend, IN, Marcie (Angel) Williams, Atlanta, GA, Darrell Walker, South Bend, IN, Joey (Deminia) Walker, Sr.,Michigan City, IN, and Dionysus Walker-Mitchell, Indianapolis, IN; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; one special friend, Lamar "Shack" Simms, Michigan City, Indiana. He was preceded in death by four children, one great grandchild and all his siblings.
