Mr. Lynwood Scott Hill West Point, MS – Mr. Lynwood Scott Hill, 65, passed away on July 30, 2014, at his residence in West Point. Mr. Lynwood was born August 14, 1948, in Chickasaw County the son of the late: Chapman Grady Hill, Sr. and Sarah Frances Scott Hill Woods. He was a member of Hope Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He worked at Royal Trucking in West Point for 39 years, where he was the Parts Manager. He enjoyed raising and tending to his miniature horses. He was also predeceased by his Step-Father: John Melvin Woods, Granddaughter: Kadie Elizabeth Allen and by 2 Brothers: Chapman Grady Hill, Jr. and Lonnie Dale Hill. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 3, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Eddie Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery in Webster County. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include His Wife: Mary Ann Hill of West Point; One Daughter, Rhonda Hill Allen (C.L.) of Eudora, Arkansas; Two Sons, Robin Hill (Cassie) of Tupelo and Brian Hill (Kristi) of West Point; Six Grandchildren: Justin, Lauren, and Ty Allen and Annsley, Taylor, and Henry Hill; Two Sisters, Patricia Hill Curry Shaw (Charlie) of Eupora and Gayle Hill of Brandon; One Brother, Glynn Woods (Bonnie) of Pearl. Pallbearers will be Brian Hill, Robin Hill, C.L. Allen, Justin Allen, Mark Stafford, Jessie Flemings, Jay Curry, and Glynn Woods. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1818, Memphis, TN 38101. Visitation will be Saturday 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
