Mr. Luther Wayne Spencer Obituary (1942

Luther Wayne Spencer, 76, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born in Booneville on February 25, 1942, to Clyde Eugene Spencer and Josie Bell Gahagan Spencer. He served his country in U. S. Army, and was a police officer in Baldwyn for a short time. He drove a truck carrying cattle and painted for the public for many years. Luther also enjoyed being a Ham Radio operator and watching westerns. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Booneville Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Price officiating. Burial will be at Prentiss Memorial Gardens. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Linda Wilemon Spencer whom he married on November 21, 1981; a son, Roger W. Spencer of Booneville; a daughter, Debra Spencer Wade (Dennis) of Booneville; a brother, Harold R. Spencer of Booneville; a host of sister-in-laws, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were William Spencer, Danny Spencer, Jackie Duncan, Rick Spencer, Harold Spencer and Jackie Duncan. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
