She left this world on December 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of passion, creativity, healing, and love. Lindsey was a gifted musician, song writer, yoga instructor, sound healer, and world traveler. Her calling in life was to inspire and uplift others, whether through the beauty of her music, the transformative power of yoga, or the profound serenity of her sound healing sessions. Her love for travel was boundless. Lindsey explored the world with open arms and an adventurous heart. When Lindsey graduated high school, she traveled to South Korea, then one month later moved to Germany. She worked in Wiesbaden and truly immersed herself in German culture. She had the opportunity to travel to The Netherlands and experienced Amsterdam and De Hauge, where she saw the ocean for the very first time. Her time in Europe sparked her true passion for traveling. Her wanderlust was matched by her natural ability to forge meaningful connections, turning strangers into friends wherever she traveled. In 2017, yoga transformed Lindsey’s life, setting her on a path to becoming a traveling yoga instructor and certified sound healer. In 2021, she founded OM in the Hills, offering her the opportunity to share her light with countless others through yoga classes, sound healing, festivals, special events, and transformative retreats in serene locations such as the Black Hills, Lake Havasu, and Joshua Tree. In 2023, she achieved her 500-hr yoga teaching certification in Nicaragua, a milestone she cherished deeply. Lindsey’s artistic spirit radiated through her music; a gift nurtured from an early age. At just five years old, her father, Stacy, gave her her first guitar, sparking a lifelong passion inspired by his own musical talents. Following in his footsteps, Lindsey grew into a gifted musician, songwriter, and performer; often sharing the stage with her father and his band. Over the years, she captivated audiences with her soulful voice and dynamic guitar playing. She later embarked on a solo career, performing a blend of her original music and the timeless classics that she grew up playing. In 2022, she released her debut album, The Vanlife Set, a heartfelt collection of songs inspired by her travels and nomadic lifestyle. Performing alongside her father remained one of her greatest joys—a beautiful testament to their deep bond and shared love of music. In 2021, Lindsey married the love of her life, Jackson, and they realized a lifelong dream by purchasing a stunning 40-acre off-grid property in the desert. Together with their beloved dogs Rick and Morti, they built a unique and inspiring life, blending their love of nature, adventure, and creativity. They traveled to Thailand and Vietnam together, fulfilling Lindsey’s dreams of continuing to travel the world. One of their favorite memories was a month-long honeymoon along the West Coast in their cherished Volkswagen van, Norman—a trip filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Lindsey’s quick wit, radiant smile, beautiful voice, and compassionate energy will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Ann Block; her maternal grandparents, Mary and Reuben Hillius; and her paternal grandfather, Nickey Block. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jackson Young; her parents Stacy and Deb Block; her twin sister Megan Block (John Myers); her sisters Andrea Block (Shiloh Lorius), Christi Taylor Casselman (Scott Casselman), Kellie Taylor (Adam Egging), Alisha Phillips, and Natasha Phillips; her brothers Matthew Block (Jessica Anderson) and Bryan Taylor (Tricia Taylor); her grandmother Della Block; beloved friend Polly Garrett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and countless others whose lives she touched. Lindsey’s life was a beacon of love, laughter, and light. Though she has left this world, her light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. Forever Young
