Mrs. Liberty Falls Obituary (1951

Liberty (Adams) Falls, 64 of Michigan City, Indiana became absent from the body and present with the Lord on January 8, 2016 at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. A Celebration of her Life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 123 Helen St. Michigan City, Indiana, with Dr. Stanley Mason officiating, visitation will be Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. Liberty "Pooh-Pooh" Falls was born July 17, 1951 in Crystal Springs, MS to the late Sarah Adams. She accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Willie B. Amos, Mount Calvary CME Church, Crystal Springs, MS. She attended Crystal Springs High School in Crystal Springs, MS. She moved to Michigan City, Indiana and found the love of her life T.C. Falls Jr. They became one heart July 15, 1970. She enjoyed life and spent most of her time surrounded by family and friends. Her Christ-like spirit and kind ways moved throughout many people lives. She was someone who you could depend on. She always gave 100% of herself to her family and friends. Liberty leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband of 45 year, Tance "T.C." Falls; One daughter, Uresa L. Falls-White of Indianapolis and three sons, Tance C. Falls III and Rodney (Lori) Washington both of Michigan City, and Kesi Falls of Elkhart; grandchildren who meant the world to her, Derick (Dana) Rush of Laporte, Sarah Falls, Marcus Falls-Foster, Tance Falls IV, Tyriana Falls, and Taye Falls all of Michigan City; Four Great-granddaughters; who kept her smiling, JaMiyah, IaNiyah, Riana, and Haley; seven brothers Mr. Connie Adams, Michigan City, Mr. Larry (Diana) Adams, Gary, Mr. Mickey Adams, Mr. Glenn (Shelia) Adams, Crystal Springs, Mississippi, Mr. Allen (Bonnie) Barnes III, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Mr. Rickey (Eddie Mae) Barnes, Edward, Mississippi, Mr. Jackie (Rose) Barnes, Crystal Springs, Mississippi, Mr. Ronald (April) Falls, Michigan City; three sisters, Mrs. Virginia (Ralph) Martin, Ms. Brenda Falls and Ms. Inger Falls; special friends, Maxine Hawkins, Louise Mock, Melba Weathers and Cora Stewart; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Adams, Auntie MaeBell "Annie" Dixion; two brothers, Anthony Charles Barnes, and Robert "Bear"Falls and one sister Betty Adams.
