How did Wendy know Lewis?
"I remember family dinners, deep sea fishing with him, Dar, Diane and Teresa. I was seasick, and never caught a fish, but he didn’t mind. He called me “Puddles” all the time. I ran into him in Boise while he was downtown, going to a bank and I heard a man say “Hey Puddles” and there he was. Sweet man with a love of family. I also remember him rescuing us in a stuck truck on Pomerelle. We relayed our situation via CB, and he got the message and found us on the hill. Never chastizing us, but rescuing us from our predicament. He wrote the book on hard work and being sweet to his children and wife. Hardworking, and liked a good prank and joke. He had a good sense of humor about life and mistakes. RIP and know you made an impact on those who knew you."

Lewis's Friend
Lewis had a heart of gold and cherished his family. He was devoted to them and to Dar. I will remember his laughter, his teasing, and his sweet spirit. He was my pseudo father when I needed one in my younger years. He embraced and accepted me as part of the family. I am sorry for his departure, but happy that he gets to reunite with Dar. My love and heartfelt sympathies to Gary, Dennis, Diane, and Teresa, and to their families.
