Mrs. Landess Gideon Obituary (1937

Nancey Landess Gideon, 75, passed away, on Friday, May 4, 2012 at her home, in Old Fort, North Carolina. Nancey Karen Landess Gideon was born April 12, 1937 in West Point, Mississippi to Vaudine Mae Sanders Landess and the late Foster Landess. Nancey was employed with Monkees in Blowing Rock, NC. Nancey enjoyed life, had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met. Her grandchildren brought her great joy. Nancey Landess Gideon married William C. Gideon on June 11, 1989. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Charles Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery West Point, Mississippi. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Her Husband of 22 years, William C. Gideon of Old Fort, North Carolina; Her daughter, Stephanie Brooks and husband David and their children Caelan and Caroline Brooks of Plano, TX, her son, Steven Williams and his wife Pam and their daughter Brooke Williams of Brookhaven, MS; William's son, Randy Gideon and wife Martha and their children Scott, Billy and Max of Florence, SC and his daughters Mimi Gideon, and Suzanne Hall and her children Sean and Taylor all of Orange Park, FL her Mother Vaudine Mae Sanders Landess of West Point, MS; one sister, Carol Lynn Flanagan of Jackson, MS; two brothers, Dr. Elmer Willis Landess (Betsy) of Clarksdale, MS, Joe Landess (Eva) of Ooltewah, TN. Visitation will be Wednesday 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point, Mississippi.
