Joseph William Cowgill, Sr., 85, was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 25, 2022 at his residence. Joseph Cowgill was a hard worker who worked his entire life and worked around his home up to his last days. He was a man of many talents...he could build or fix anything, loved gardening and taking care of his many animals over the years. He is preceded in death by son, Hiawatha Cowgill, Sr. who passed away 3 years ago and daughter, Josie Cowgill who passed over 40 years ago. He is survived in death by sons, Terry Cowgill, Sr., and Joseph William Cowgill, Jr.; daughter in law, Macie Cowgill; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and many other close family members.
