Frances Dambrosio, affectionately known as Fran or Franny, was a beacon of resilience and generosity who left an indelible mark on countless lives. Born Frances Romano on April 23, 1945, in Somerville, MA, she moved to Revere during her high school years and made it her home for the rest of her life. Fran was a loyal friend, a thoughtful mother, and an adoring grandmother. Her family always came first, and she was deeply committed to her loved ones.
Fran was the heart of her vibrant community. Retired from a fulfilling career as a hairdresser, she carried the spirit of her salon into every part of her life, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere wherever she went. Her home was always filled with the delicious aroma of her excellent cooking and baking, and she loved hosting family holidays and friend gatherings. An avid reader, she found joy and solace in the pages of countless books. Fran also looked forward to her card nights with her girlfriends, a tradition always accompanied by Chinese food. A devout member of the St. Anthony's Church ladies sodality, her faith was a guiding force in her life.
Frances Dambrosio is lovingly remembered by her son, Paul Dambrosio. She joins her parents, Alessandro and Catherine Romano, who preceded her in death. Fran lived a life full of love, loyalty, and thoughtful generosity, inspiring all who knew her with her resilience and warm heart. Her legacy will continue to be a beacon of light for her family and friends.
We encourage anyone who knew Frances to share their fondest memories and photos on her memorial page. Your tributes will help us to celebrate her life and keep her spirit alive in our hearts.
