Estelle Peacock

Mabel Estelle Peacock, a beloved figure in her community, will be remembered with deep affection following her peaceful passing on January 2, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on April 15, 1939, in Atlanta, Georgia, Estelle was the cherished daughter of the late Benjamin Bugg Peacock and Edna Earle Bolt Peacock.

Estelle's journey through life was marked by her dedication to education, beginning her career as an Elementary School teacher, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of her students in locations including Germany, Texas, and Georgia. Her passion for nurturing young minds was matched only by her joy in working at Talbot's Clothing after retirement, a role she embraced wholeheartedly. A devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta, Estelle's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she demonstrated the values of love, compassion, and kindness in everything she did.

In addition to her parents, Estelle is also preceded in death by her beloved sister, Edna Peacock Gray.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her sister Cornelia Blackman and brother-in-law Wilbur Blackman, as well as nieces and nephews W. Lewis & Christy Blackman, Elizabeth & Nick Miller, Ben & Jim Gray, and Edna & Jimmy Farrar. She will also be dearly missed by her 7 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Westview Cemetery, located at 1680 Westview Drive, SW, Atlanta, Georgia.

As we prepare to say our goodbyes, let us reflect on the indelible mark Estelle has left on our hearts. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love will continue to resonate within all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though she may be gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.
