DaMarcus Keller Obituary (2003 - 2023)

DaMarcus Abel Keller, known fondly as DD, was a beacon of love and joy who illuminated the lives of all those who knew him. Born on July 15, 2003, in Garland, TX, DaMarcus spent his 20 years on Earth leaving indelible fingerprints of kindness, courage, and wit on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. A smart and loving spirit, DaMarcus was a beacon of joy and warmth in his hometown of Plano and Garland, Texas. He turned his passion for helping others into a fulfilling career with Keller's General Contracting, a business he dedicated three significant years of his life. Off the clock, DaMarcus was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and an enthusiastic gamer who loved to engage his siblings in friendly competition. His love for his family was evident in every interaction, every laughter-filled game night, even every shared meal. The quote, "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" by Mahatma Gandhi, encapsulates the essence of DaMarcus' life. He was always ready to extend a helping hand, and his actions were guided by an immense love for his family, friends, and his beloved dogs, Mercedes and Butch. DaMarcus is survived by his loving mother, Amanda Robinson-Clay; father, Marvin Keller and his wife Tera; siblings, Alex, Marvin Jr (Sari), Lorreena, Malik, Loretta, Arianna, Marlin, and Marley; step-parent, Shellie Robinson; grandparents, Randall Richardson, Virginia Vann, Lorraine Keller, Marvin L. and Nana Annette Vann; aunts, Lesley Jones(Byron) Renat Keller, Tatianna Jones, and Lisa Vann; uncle, Joseph Vann; and his best friend, Kevin. His nieces and nephews, Genesis, Lil Marvin, Miracle, and Ivan will remember their Uncle DaMarcus for his playful spirit and loving heart. He is also survived by many, NEUMOROUS cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his Aunt Cindy Jumper, Great Grandparents Linda and Tony Vann, Great Aunt Susie Vann, and Grandfather Phillip Lavalais (PJ). To close with DaMarcus’ own favorite quote, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." - Abraham Lincoln. DaMarcus lived his years to the fullest, spreading love and joy wherever he went. He will forever be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, whose courage and spirit continue to inspire all those who knew him.
