Mrs. Daisy Lorene Lee Obituary (1934

Mrs. Daisy Lorene Lee, 81, passed away on April 24, 2016, at her residence in West Point. Mrs. Daisy was born November 30, 1934, in Monroe County the daughter of the late Jasper and Myrtle Stegall Skinner. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. She loved western movies and listening to gospel music. She married Andrew O'Neal Lee, Sr. on August 17, 1950 in Amory. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2010. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by Daughter: Carolyn Valesquez; and Granddaughter: Lisa Faye Tarver. Funeral services will be April 27, 2016, at 1:00 P.M. from Faith Baptist Church in West Point with Reverend Ben Yarber officiating and assisted by Reverend Charles David Young. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Two Daughters, Rita Laster (Clifton) and Theresa Ann Lee both of West Point; Two Sons, Andrew O'Neal "Andy" Lee, Jr. of West Point and Allen Lee McDonald (Tammy) of Caledonia; Twelve Grandchildren, Thirteen Great- Grandchildren, and Two Great-Great Grandchildren; One Brother, Delmer Skinner (Nina) of San Jose, CA. Pallbearers will be Alex Alsobrooks, Austin Lee, Jonathan Ray, Matthew Bagwell, Tyler McDonald, Ridge Hall, Brandon McDonald, Austin Clardy, and Preston Gibson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Dotson and the Nurses and Staff of North Mississippi Medical Center Home Health Care. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 8217, Jackson, MS 39215. Visitation will be Wednesday 11:00-1:00 P.M. at Faith Baptist Church in West Point.
