She is survived by her husband, Jim Smith; her four children: Caylin, Layla, Austyn, and Aaron Smith; her parents: Lisa Atkins, John Burrier and Trisie Burrier; her brother, Jason Burrier; her sister, Shari Burrier; and many cousins and in-laws. Daffney had a love for life, her children, her friends, and her family. She loved dancing, singing, and playing games with her children. She enjoyed watching movies. She had a love for adventure. Daffney was a fighter, faithful to the Lord and always had a positive outlook even in the toughest of times. Daffney Elaine Smith, 38, passed away in Houston, TX on December 8, 2017. Daffney was born in San Antonio, TX to John Burrier and Lisa Atkins on May 9, 1979.
