Mrs Clariece "Nell" Myers Obituary (1943

Clarice Jenell “Nell” Myers, 73, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born in Prentiss County on August 29, 1943, to Glowkus Sylvester and Mattie Rene Belue Kennedy. She had a passion for painting and woodcrafts. The talents God blessed her with, gave her the ability to bless others. She loved family game nights of dominos and cards. If you know Nell, you know the love she had for cooking. She loved it so much, she was inspired to do a cookbook that was 300 pages long. She wanted to share her love of cooking with others the way others shared their love of cooking with her. A memorial service will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 7:00 P.M in the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Heg officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Dean Myers; sons, Michael Murphy (Linda) of McLoud, Ok., Johnny Dale Murphy (Wanda), Greg Murphy (Tammy) both of Booneville, Glowkus Murphy (Heather) of Yukon, Ok., and Robert Myers (Maria) of Moline, Ill.; daughters, Lisa Meeker (Ron) of Colona, Ill., Michelle Myers (Steve) of Hillsdale, Ill.; sister, Helen Vanderford of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister-in-law, Darlene Kennedy of Pleasant Prairie, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, step parents, brother, brother-in-law, and grandson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
