Carole McFarland

Carole Ione McFarland, age 84 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, June 27, 2022. She was born September 11, 1937, in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Johnson.

Mrs. Carole worked as a Medical Technologist for over 25 years. She loved writing prayers, reading her Bible, playing the guitar, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Ashley, and brothers, Charles Johnson, and Delbert Johnson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Walter Donald McFarland; son, Walter Donald McFarland, Jr., daughter, Kathryn McFarland; brothers, Billy (Dotty) Johnson, Harold (Juanita) Johnson, and Jerry (Raye) Johnson; grandchildren, Maxwell McFarland, Emanuel Rustin, and Jonathan Rustin; and a host of nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends at Martin & Hightower Funeral Home on Sunday, July 3, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and again on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 10:00 AM from Martin & Hightower Funeral Home with Apostle Donald Graham officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, at 2:00 on Tuesday afternoon. The family will host a memorial tribute service at a later date in September 2022 in the Twin Cities
