Azzile Anderson Obituary (1923

Azzile Elizabeth Anderson An Alabama native, Azzile lived in Fairhope, Alabama, from birth in 1923 until her marriage to Frank C. Anderson, Jr. in 1945. He was a Navy officer and pilot during World War II. After the war, the couple lived in Lawrence, Kansas where he earned an accounting degree from the University of Kansas. Due to his subsequent positions with Standard Oil of New Jersey and Esso Caribbean / Exxon, the couple lived in the following locations: Tulsa; Houston; Maracaibo and Caracas, Venezuela; Cartagena, Colombia; Miami, Florida; San Jose, Costa Rica; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Kingston, Jamaica. After retiring from Exxon, the couple moved back to the states to live in Manhattan, Kansas, and Tulsa. Following her husband's death in 1980, Azzile moved to Fairhope, Alabama, and finally to Boerne, Texas. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, Azzile enjoyed traveling and dearly loved our great nation. A devout Christian Scientist her entire life, she loved her God with all her heart and soul. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all of the many lives she touched. Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ferris Forster, as well as her husband, Frank C. Anderson, Jr., Mrs. Anderson is survived by Daughter, Cynthia Stitt and her husband, Sam; Son, Paul Anderson; Grandchildren, Sam, Brett ,and Andrew Stitt, Scott, David, and Sarah Anderson; Sister, Minerva Jackson; Brother, Walter Forster, Jr. Memorial Services will be on Sunday, August 13, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. at Vaughan's Funeral Home.
