How did Ardith Minnie make the world a better place?
"When I was a kid, we always were invited to go over to Aunt Ardith's house on Halloween for a special treat that she made for us and my cousins! I appreciated being included in that! Thank you for the special treatment, Aunt Ardith!"

How did Robin know Ardith Minnie?
"Daughter-in-law. It was a privilege to get to live with both she and Garth for our first year living in Vernal with Casey Lee as a toddler. We loved their humor and tall tales. She spent time with us and we swapped meals, recipes, gardening tips, and she taught me how to REALLY can and preserve peaches, jams, pickles, and beans. Garth taught us how to sow and reap and store potatoes. Such great memories and a season of life. Then we had the privilege from 2017 through late summer of 2018 to have her live in our home. She taught me more life lessons; she loves her family and God and country (esp the Basin) so much. She was not the same Cha I knew back in the late 1990s, but we shared many a meal, chores, and supporting kids activities once again. She was a blessing in my life and our children's lives. I will miss this resilient, fun loving, optimistic fireball."

How did Fawn know Ardith Minnie?
"Aunt Ardith lived around the corner from me in my youth. She and my mom, LaRae Perry, were the closest of sistersc even with a 9 year age gap! Sometimes they were in the same ward, sometimes not, but they always talked and helped each other out. There were always amazing gardens, and fun times with our families together. I learned how to make homemade noodles watching Ardith and my mom do it at my home. I met my German host family at her home. She and Larry served a mission in England, and their Zone Leader at one point was a young German elder. After he went home and got married, he and his wife came to visit Ardith and Larry. I was in my first semester of German in 8th grade. I went over to meet them and the rest is history! My favorite memory was a more recent one. I was visiting my mom from Washington. We had a bunch of family over, so there were a lot of people. When it came time to leave, Ardith started looking for her blue coat. We helped her look around for it. She found one and started putting it on. It actually ended up being my tiny son's (he was 5 or 8)! Of course Ardith could only get one arm into it! We kept looking for her coat and finally found it. It was a totally different color (I think red)! We had a good laugh over that! I love you, Aunt Ardith! I am sad you are gone from us, but so glad you have been reunited with your parents and siblings and other family members. <3 <3 <3 "
