Dad is a type of person who will give anything that he can, more than what he has, even you won't ask for it, as soon as he feels you need it, he will give and provide. Same as true with his life, which he lost while he was at work, gave all his effort and energy to save lives from possible danger, until his last breath. I know that my dad is looking down today with a biggest smile on his face in the arms of Jesus, I know as he enter the gates of heaven he's greeted with, "well done, Alex" As a daughter, it was extremely heartbreaking because I know that it must have been prevented. And there was no heavier surprise than to receive a call and hear my mom yelling my dad's name in the background crying because dad was dying. It will be a day i'll never forget. We never,EVER, gave him something to be mad at, we absorb everything so he has nothing to worry about, because we know he is delicate, that's why he is well taken care of. Little did i know that he'll be gone just because of other human being. And my heart always ached for those who are involved and talk to me like nothing happened. But even how much I express my rancor, at the end of the day I have no choice but to accept it and let him go. I did knew that this day will come at some point in my life, however I didn't think it would come so soon. Home has been felt lonely without him here. And dad, 28 years is just not enough. You promised me you'll still take care of my kids in the future, bring and pick them up from school, that you are willing to stay at home and take care of them so me and my husband can continue to work. Daddy, please know that you are the best. Thank you for the life you gave me, for guiding me, for all your support in every decision I made, for loving me unconditionally, for all the laughter, for nourishing our family with love and joy, and for EVERY-SINGLE-THING. Kung wala ka, wala po ako. At wala po ako ng meron ako ngayon kung hindi po dahil sa inyo. Ako po ang pinaka masayang anak kapag kasama kita, at ngayon ako ang pinaka malungkot na anak ngayong wala ka na.
