I first met the Wolfinjer family when I was a police officer. Alan drove tow truck for his brother and the Ford dealer here in Lodi, California. I met Alan at several DUI arrest and traffic accidents. My wife and I became friends of the family and had dinners with them. We attended Alan’s and Debbie’s wedding. After Alan Jr. was born, they asked me if I would be Alan’s God father, which I happily accepted. After Alan moved to Utah, we’ve have kept in contact. Alan came out several times to visit where he stayed with my wife and myself. I’ve had a chance to visit and stay with Alan a couple of times where I’ve got to meet several of his young bull riding friends.
